Pickling line

Pickling lines eliminate oxide and scale from the band surface on hot rolled coils. The process is based on passing the band through hydrochloric baths which dissolve the surface oxides like ferric oxide Fe2O3, ferrous oxide FeO, and ferric-ferrous oxide Fe3O4. The pickling process efficiency largely depends on the material chemical composition, bath temperature, removal of the same, acid concentration and tank length.

4.Process Flow 

Major equipments in turns are as follows:

Crane hoisting coils to skids →coil laoding car→ decoiler (pressure roller, anti-curve roller) → decoiling scraper → Deflector roll → verticalguide roller → pinch roller straightener → crop shearer →corner shearer(with scrap bucket) → vertical guide roller → pre-washing trough → four-grade hydrochloric acid pickling trough → four-gradewashing trough (Including pre-washing section) → edge blowing device→ hot air dryer → II# pinch roller → looper (Both ends are equipped with looper swing stand) → vertical guide roller → pinch centering machine → circle shearer (With waste edge recoiler) → 3-roller tension roller → crosscut shearer → vertical guide roller → steering pinch roller → recoiler → coil unloading trolley → coil receiving stand→Crane hoisting coils to storage house
